Since 1877 Cabot has been providing users the tools, materials and guidance needed to create beautiful decks with outstanding quality. Cabot reached out to us to design an application for them, in which users would submit images of their decks and share with the world.
In this application, users are able to browse entries made by the community and vote on the ones that stand out for them. If they really like a particular entry, they can even share it on their profile wall. Those that wish to contribute can do so by submitting their own deck entry. The incentive for sharing was that a winner would be announced every week for the duration of the campaign.
The results were so impressive (thousands of votes cast), the team decided to double the amount of time the campaign would stay live. Deck of the Week will continue to be a part of the Cabot brand in the future as well.
