Honda, a leading brand in cars and motorcycles, reached out to us to promote their new line of motor-bikes. They wanted to do this via a flash based game in which the user would be able to drive this vehicle around in one of three available cities (modeled on the real thing).
The design was created using the city's map and identifying the famous landmarks. Engaging game mechanics were added, such as visiting specific areas in the map, fighting the clock, picking up your girlfriend, and more. Once the user completed the target, they would be able to unlock the next city. Users were excited to play the game due to it's addictive nature and also knew where the roads were leading them as they were modeled on their own city's map with famous landmarks visible to them.
An element of competition was added through a leader board which would display the top players for each particular week or month. You could compete with your friends, brag on their wall once you beat them, and much more.
