CandyLand Paradise is a leading chocolate brand and were looking to take their latest branding initiative to the social platform Facebook.

The concept

The Brand Crew came to us requiring a Facebook Application for CandyLand Paradise that would allow users to take a quiz designed in a humorous manner, along with having the ability to send virtual gifts (themed according to Paradise’s brand image) to their friends.


For every friend a person brings to the application, either via the newsfeed or through the invite friend feature, they earn an additional entry into the lucky draw and have a higher chance to win great prizes.


The Facebook Page grew from 0 to 20,000 in 2 weeks flat. With the contest scheduled to run for 4 weeks before the giveaway is announced, what was a small social campaign grew larger than expected and finished with 300% more entries in their giveaway contest than initially expected.
