Wendy’s wanted to team up with IGN and cross promote to their fan base. One of the ways through which they wanted to do this was via an engaging Facebook application.
Wendy’s created an inspiring new campaign in which they had a Facebook application through which users were allowed to create their own T-Shirts using Wendy’s logos, assets, fonts and other library items. They would then be able to submit these T-shirts online to be voted on.
IGN teamed up with Wendy’s to promote this application and we helped them do it through a sweeps and voting application. All IGN users that would visit the Wendy’s tab on the IGN Facebook Page and went over to create their own Wendy’s shirt through IGN were entered in a contest to win several gaming prizes from IGN.
The overall results were fantastic as both Wendy’s and IGN gained new fans in the thousands as well as tens of thousands of new entries were submitted to the Wendy’s Facebook application.Launch Application
