Loading Case Study Experience
Air France, one of the most prestigious airlines in the world, wanted to find out what their customers had planned for 2015 and wanted to offer them a bit of help in keeping their New Year’s travel resolutions.
Sparkloft Media teamed up with us to bring this to life. They provided us with a fantastic concept which we ran with. We sketched a storyboard, wireframes, mocked up the designs and wrote the code to bring it to life.
We designed and developed AirFranceResolutions.com — a microsite where users are asked to select what they would like to do in 2015 (ranging from culture to trendy) and are then recommended destinations which they can visit.
This can then be shared on Facebook so that your friends can hold you accountable,and the user is given an entry into a sweepstake which gives them a chance to win two tickets to one of the ten featured destinations where they could complete their travel resolutions.
We sketched a rough picture of how the story would unfold to give us and our clients a better idea of our thought process.
The design was inspired by all the different types of New Year’s Resolutions such as ‘Culture Yourself’ and ‘Find your Trendy Side’. We chose items that speak to these themes and created a room full of them.
We also designed a custom 3D model replica of the Air France plane. We then animated the plane and brought it to life in the application itself. You can also find it featured in the video below.
The campaign soared through the skies and generated a great deal of buzz and contest entries from Air France’s fan base. We would like to thank everyone who participated and all involved in bringing this fantastic app to life.
